For Sale is our 1999 Chevrolet ( chevy ) Blazer - 2 door s-10 style ( not trailblazer). I just bought this recently with the plan to make this my commute truck, but the honest truth is the 2 door is a pain to get my two young kids out of each day, so we are going to look for something else. This is not showpiece truck, but is very dependable and drivable anywhere. In all actuality the exterior is in pretty good shape for a older suv...all though it does have the typical small spots of rust on the wheel wells The reality of the SUV is pretty much it runs and drives great, heat is great, 4x4 is FANTASTIC, but it is a 10 year of truck and is starting to show its age. This would be perfect for a winter car, a commute car, or a truck to haul stuff with. It has am/fm/cd, power locks, power seats, power windows, AC, Overhead console with temperature and direction (compass), and keyless entry (however, the battery is dead in the fob). Seats are in good shape, and teh carpet is fine as well. Since I was planning on using this car as a primary vehicle, I had quite a bit of work done, including: New brakes, rotors, and rear calipers ($500). Since the brake job, the ABS light comes on once in a while when its wet outside. New Front ball joints and Wheel Bearing ($550) I bought a different set of tires and rims as well...they are in pretty good shape and should have a couple years left in them. Really a safe blazer! A couple of things in the interior of note- 1) the door panel on the driver's side needs replacement. At some point the window motor on the driver's side came loose and in turn broke the door panel....any salvage yard would have one. the motor has been fixed and replaced. 2) The stereo works, but the speakers are pretty much shot. 3) The glove box needs a latch. 4) Needs a O2 sensor. 5) The drivers door closes a bit hard. The four wheel drive works AWESOME! It was a savior in the last snow storm. Overall the blazer looks good. It has some spots of rust starting, but nothing too bad. The aluminum rims are pretty nice too. Could use a wash and wax. It has a class III hitch, but I have not had the need to use it. The car has 220,000 miles on it, but runs great! Kelly Blue book on this car is $3200 and the NADA Value is $2850 It’s not new..but it is still really nice.
