Vehicle Detail

RELISTED DUE TO AN EBAY SCAMMER......warning to all scammers, I was born at night, but NOT last night....I will NOT accept your fake cashier's checks and send you back money, I will NOT pay the taxes on your Nigerian Lottery, I will NOT give you my bank account numbers, I WILL turn you over to my frineds in Vegas though, so enjoy the dirt nap :-). Any bids from bidders with less than 10 positive feedback will be deleted UNLESS you contact me first. I don't mind selling to a new ebay member, just hit "ask a question" and let me know your serious by sending me your name and phone number, Thanks. Anyhow- STILL up for sale is my 1988 RX7 track car. I used to race this in CRS (California Rally Series) as a Rally-Cross vehicle in 2WD stock class. It was just an old RX7 I had sitting around. I had a title but lost it and never registered the car in my name. I will include a bill of sale. The VIN is listed in auction, car is NOT stolen or anything I've just never driven it "legally" on the street. After playing around in Rally-Cross with the car some friends of mine that work for Mazda Corp. started inviting me up to Lagana Seca (Mazda Raceway) for open track days and I got instantly hooked. At this point the RX7 went up on jack stands and didn't come down until the engine, suspension and brakes were completely replaced. The amount of parts put into this car is insane, only brand new top shelf items were put in this car and you could strip it make a TON of $$$ if you wanted. The car was never finished as I moved on to a Miata, soon to be listed for sale also. WHY, you ask??.....Simple, I've hard 4 back surguries, 2 in the last 3 months and my track, racing, and working on car days are over. Heck I can't even work at this point, so I need to sell off all sorts of toys just to pay the ol' mortgage :-(. Here are details about this RX7: Engine - Engine has about 200 miles on it, maybe 100 miles on Laguna Seca, 30-40 miles on Autoclub Speedway, and the rest burning rubber around the nieghbor hood. Engine is a 13B, 6-port. The side housings were brand new and have had the internal ports simeesed to a 4-port. The rotors housing were also brand new, from a 93-95 twin-turbo RX7 (FD). They are stock. The rotating assembly (rotors/shaft) are from a RX8 Renesis motor and had only a couple of hundred miles on them. The flywheel is aluminum and from Racing Beat, the clutch is a 6 or 8 puck also from Racing Beat. The Exhaust is full Racing Beat (expensive) this includes a header, presilencer, turbo II Y-pipe and two Turbo-II mufflers, again ALL from racing Beat and all but the presilencer is polished......The radiator is a Koyo-rad unit and an electric fan is installed as a pusher (should be re-wired to a sensor). Transmission is stock and needs a new mount and syncros (rally-cross was tough on it). I have several extra transmissions and wining bidder is welcome to any/all of them at no extra cost. Suspension is all coil over from K-sport, including adjustable camber plates on the front. The sway bars are from suspension techniques, the sway bar end links are adjustable and from racing beat. Brakes are brembo front rotors, stock rear, Hawk pads at all four corners, again only about 200 miles on all these parts. Brake lines are braided stainless steel from racing beat. This was a 4-lug SE model car to begin with, it was converted to a 5-lug using the Mazda 4-piston brake calipers. Body is a wide-body from Raceon USA. This was installed because the front nose was banged up and one fender was junk. car was never wrecked, but it wasn't cared for either before all the modifications. The paint is 100% pure rattle can with real DOT yellow stripes up the center.....If you rob a bank and this is your get away car, the police helicopters will never be able to see it from above, just split the lane and your invisible :-). Body is very straight, but wide-body kit was mounted to hit the track, NOT car shows. If you wanted to paint the car I'd suggest blending all the panels better, the tail lights are updated to 89-91 RX7, so much better looking. Front hood is From a RX7 GXL Auto, meaning that's it's the lighter aluminum hood. The front and rear bumper covers as well as the enitre body kit are fiberglass, so very light. ALL bumper supported were removed to reduce wieght even further. Rear diff is a stock Mazda LSD (clutch type) Wheels are 17" Fitipaldi's made in Italy, tires are Yokohama but are old and should be replaced even thought tread is very good. Some pics may show car on 15" Mazda BBS rims, car is NOW on the 17" rims..... The interior never got finished. This is when I switched over to the Miata and basically just parked the 7. It is gutted from the B-piller back, most of the A/C radio and such crap is long gone, dash is still installed and hooked up. It needs a roll bar/cage and a real racing seat or two depending on your plan. This would be a really fun car to comlpete, it handles really well, tuned for oversteering but the whole suspension is adjustable (coil-over, pre-loadable sway bars, ride hieght, etc.) or just part it out and make some good money or save a ton of money getting these parts for your current RX7.....Due to my spine injuries I can't part it out myself, otherwise I would because I know I'm only gong to see pennys on the dollar for what I have sunk into this car....my loss is your gain. Bid to win, payment must be made after auction ends, car can be stored as long as needed. I can't deliver due to my car trialer being stolen a few weeks ago...... Ask questions and I'll reply quickly, check my other auctions for other interesting and fun cars....
