Vehicle Detail

Description: 1993 911 Carrera 2. Midnight Blue with blue interior. 3.6 Liter engine. 5 speed manual transmission. 133,800 miles. Runs great. New power steering rack. New battery. Newly serviced and charged air conditioning system. Stereo/CD player with removable face. Electric sun-roof. Tires are in great shape. There is a small inward dent in rear hood (see pic) in the shape of a square AC bracket nut. What happened was that one of the square air conditioning bracket nuts came loose and fell down, got thrown up from the fan belt, and made a dent in the hood from the inside. The nut has been put back on the bracket and tightened. Great looking original paint with only a few blemishes here and there - the worst blemish being a spot above the driver door handle where someone used a buffer too hard (see pic). All glass is in great shape except for the front windshield having a small chip at the bottom passenger side of the glass. Interior looks good except for a wear spot in the leather on the driver seat - it's about a two inch long wear spot with a small hole beginning to form in the center. The engine and performance of the car is good and strong. The car has a very smooth drive. There are a couple of small oil leaks from the engine. Last year it had the O-Ring on the thermostat cover replaced and also the crankcase vent cover gasket replaced. This seemed to help the oil leaks a bit, but they still show up. From my understanding it's hard to completely eliminate oil leaks from Porsches. History: My wife bought this car in the summer of 2009. We don't know the history of the car except that it's originally from San Diego California and that it spent the first nine years of it's life there. We are selling now because she does not use the car as much as she planned. Reality: I have tried my best to give an accurate description of the car. This is a good little car, but also remember that it is an 18 year old used vehicle. If you are planning on perfection I suggest that you buy a new car with a warranty or at least buy a used car in your local community where you can see and drive it for yourself. But if you go into this with the reality that you are buying a good little classic car then I welcome your business.
