Up for Auction with no reserve is this 2005 Chevy Silverado 3500 HD with a 6.6l Diesel engine. The millage is under 250,000 miles. It is equipped with the Allison Transmission. I have used Bio Diesel in the truck for the last 6 months and replaced the fuel filter after doing this, it runs and performs best on the bio diesel but I have run regular diesel in it from time to time. The vehicle runs and shifts very smooth. Reliability is not an issue. All of the miles are long distance miles, It was been driven from the East coast to the West coast many times and has seen very little City driving. I estimate I make a low 20 mpg on the freeway. I have had little experience with City driving so I could give no Estimated mpg's for city driving. The defects with the truck are all cosmetic. The hole on the passenger side Dually fender is from me pushing a shopping cart into the side of it at a Wal Mart in New Mexico. I still have the piece of the dually that was broken. I tried to fix it with the epoxy but I have no experience in body work and it did not look acceptable. I did however keep the missing piece for whoever knows how to mend fender plastic. The hole on the drivers side Dually fender came from my job in Tempe Arizona were another driver reversed a motor home into the side just brushing the dually fender causing the plastic to break. No part of the mounting or metal is bent, it is only damage to the plastic. I also have all the broken pieces to this side dually fender as well. Whoever caused this damage left the scene and did not claim responsibility for the damage so I did not want to use my insurance to fix the issue. There are a few minor scratches on the tailgate as seen in the pictures and from all the freeway driving there are a few chips on the front of the truck. There are also a few pits in the windshield from freeway driving but there are no long cracks as seen in the pictures as well. Tires on the front (2) are in fair conditions and tires (4) in the back are in very good condition. I have 3 kids and they were in my truck a large majority of the time with me. The seats and carpet are in good condition but could use a little further cleaning. Two of my kids are under 5 and they ate and drank in the vehicle causing little messes as indicated in the pictures. I did a fair cleaning of this but a better cleaning should remove most all the kids wear and tear. The middle arm rest for driver passenger took a beating from my kids climbing over into the front seat and needs to be refastened to the base. This has been shown in the picture. My daughter thought the CD player was a 6 disk player and now the insert and eject on the CD player does not work properly, The radio, sound quality and XM work flawlessly though. It is just the CD player that has issues. The speedometer (MPH only) has started malfunctioning and I have no had the money to fix it (this is a common problem with this year Chevy truck). The heat on the drivers side does not blow like the passenger side but the Air conditioning is very very cold and the defrost works well.The trip computer and all other functions are in very good condition The truck has the 5th wheel conversion already installed and has a chrome tool holder in the bed of the truck. I have a custom brake controller in the cab of the truck on the drivers side under cigarette lighters as shown in the pictures. It is also prewired for a CB radio and XM satellite radio . I have a 3 ball Resse tow hitch and lock with the keys. My vehicle is up for a visual inspection at anytime and is located in Tempe, Az. I will also take more pics upon request or video if needed. Test drives are also welcome. The issues with this vehicle are not mechanical, they are merely cosmetic and can all be repaired for under $3000.00.
