I am listing this truck for one of my best friends. His Prostreet 1982 Chevy S-10 was completed about ten years ago and driven about 1000 miles after completion. The truck runs great and has never been raced or even brought to the strip; as his interests changed shortly after completion. Because it was a labor of love and something he shared with his father, he never really wanted to part with it. With limited space and new projects on the horizon this truck must now be sold. For the majority of its life after completion, this truck has been stored in the climate controlled showroom of Allstar Hotrods in Berlin, Connecticut. The truck includes: a Harwood Cowl Hood, a 1993 GMC Nose & Grill with a Billet Insert, Shaved Door and Tail-Gate Handles, Shave Gas door, New Rockers and Cab Corners, New Fenders and Inner Fenders, Widened Stock Wheel Wells in Bed, a 6-Point Roll-Cage, RCI Fuel Cell with sending unit, a Holley Electric Fuel Pump, a narrowed frame with a Ford 9” rear end with 4:11 Locker and 31 Spline Moser Axels, a 4” Driveshaft, Bell Tech Dropped Spindles and Springs (complete new front end) Dupont Chromabase Ultra Violet Paint with Ohio Style Flames, a Rolled Pan and Smoothed Front Bumper, and the Chassis is painted with Dupont Black Urethane Paint. This truck is powered by a V8 - 383 Stroker with 202 Fulie Heads, a Crane Fireball 305 Cam, Aluminum Roller Rockers, 10:1 compression, a Barry Grant 750 Demon Carb with a Strip Dominator Intake, Custom Headers, 3” Flowmaster’s with Dumps, a new radiator with duel electric fans, a Turbo 350 Transmission with a Dynamic 3700 Stall Converter and a rear mounted transcooler with 3” electric fan, a B&M ProStick, NOS Cheater System, a Remote Shut-off, and a NOS Cheater System with Remote Shutoff Bottle. Power (although never dynoed) is conservativly estimated to be 450 hp without NOS. This truck rolls on Custom Built American Racing Torque Thrust Wheels (15 x 4 ½ & 15 x 13) with Mickey Thompson Tires that are in great shape. The interior has Grand Am Seats and headliner that are wrapped with Grey Tweed, Autometer Gauges, New Glass, and Weather-Stripping. The owner is also a non-smoker. The padding has been installed, but carpet and door panels were never installed and are not included in this auction. My rating speaks for itself.
