1972 saw a radical change in the Torino and Ranchero lines. The sleek, pointy look of the previous year's model was replaced with a larger, heavier design. Most prominent was a wide, gaping 'fishmouth' grille and a new body-on-frame design. This car was lovingly restored by my father. Still needs a few finishing touches, but almost complete. Very clean. Has been in our family for 25+ years and always garaged. Professionally painted a beautiful fire engine red with black interior, black tonoue cover and spray bed liner. Engine is a 351s Windsor. Stock internals. GT hood. Great running vehicle! 62,800 original miles. Chrome airfilter cover and cylinder heads. New windshield, brake job and battery. Good matching tires on chrome wheels. Tonoue cover is in perfect condition. Has a few rust bubbles on lower panels under the paint (see pictures). Under body on vehicle is clean and rust free per mechanic. Has some small scratches on the tail gate (photo included). Missing the "R" on the hood. Straight body and frame.
