I’ve owned and ridden this classic proudly for twenty years and never thought I’d ever have to let it go but my health is such that I can no longer ride a kick-starter ( double hip replacements) This is the last of the “real” Bonneville's before they went to the oil – In -frame version and are therefore the most sought after. This is an older cosmetic restoration in the correct Astral Red/ Triumph Silver, hand lined in gold and still looks stunning. It is in my opinion the most strikingly beautiful color combo of any Bonnie year. The paint came from Don Hutchison Cycle in Mass, so it is correct.. The entire exhaust has been replaced correctly and the chrome still nice and shiny. The Amals only have around 4-5,000 miles on them so it’s an easy starter. The fork bushings and gaiters have been replaced and though the logo is worn off the back of the seat, there are no rips or tears and the logos can be replaced. Just never bothered. The seat pan is also pristine. It has a newer battery and is wearing a nice pair of Avon Roadrunners. She runs and shifts smoothly and there is really nothing sweeter than the sound of a correctly tuned old Bonnie carving through some nice back road somewhere!!! I would strongly prefer this numbers matching head turner to stay in the hands of someone who would really enjoy and appreciate her and continue to give her the care it deserves. This will also ensure her value will only continue to increase . Good Luck and thanks for looking!!
