1978 Ford 7000 Water Truck / Utility Truck. I call the "pit bull" She is an increadibly strong truck. Under the hood is a cat V636 Diesel motor with an automatic transmission. I think the transmission is a Allison but not positive. Motor starts right up and runs excellent. She only has 51000 miles. All six tires are brand new (not recaps) The braked are juice brakes not air so NO CDL is required to drive this truck. Truck has emergency lights on the front and in rear, there is also one on the cab.Truck has no rust damage and no dents. The utility box has a small scrape on the rear door which you can see in the pics. The Water Tank holdes 500 gallons and has suction and discharge pump. There is also a heavy duty resessed hitch that will pull down a house. Truck runs and drives great! It turns on a dime and is very easy to drive. This truck would make a great snow plow truck! If your looking for a good heavy duty work truck that has been taken care of since new this is the one. Truck comes with a Ford Statement of Origin as the Title being it was originally a fire truck.
