Vehicle Detail
1976 Trans Am. Original Buccaneer Red (Orange) 455 H.O. 4 speed car. This car was restored in the mid 90s and had the the entire suspension and drive train rebuilt. New leaf springs complete front suspension, brakes, radiator, fuel pump, alternator, starter rebuilt transmission and clutch, inside the car got new carpet and front seat covers. The paint is done in base coat clear coat in the factory color. The engine is the icing on the cake here. It is the numbers matching 455 with over 7 grand worth of parts and labor. I have all the paper work and receipts for the rebuild. As you can see from the pictures it has Edelbrock Ram Air 4 heads with a matched Edelbrock air gap Torker intake and a 750 CFM carb. It has a MSD 6AL ignition box with a blaster coil and a MSD distributor. What you can't see is the custom JE pistons @ 9.5 compression. The cam is from Comp. Cams Grind # P 286AH-10 Intake = .489/286 Exhaust = .500/292 on a 110 lobe separation. It also has Crane roller rockers and dual valve springs. The headers are Hooker super comp 2" hooked to a nice set of 3 stage Flow Master mufflers with full exhaust out the back of the car. The engine runs perfect on 92 oct. pump gas and makes 500HP and 495LBS of torque. So its a stump pulling tire smoking sum bitch! The car has had about 13,000 miles since all this was done and The engine was just freshened up last year with new rings and bearings and re polishing of the crank shaft and a valve job. The clutch was replaced as well simply because the engine was already out of the car. All the gauges and radio work and it has 80LBS of oil pressure. The dash is perfect with no cracks and no cheep cover hiding stuff. The car has a 3.08 Posi rear end that is nice and tight. The car is starting to get a bid worn and is a 6 or 7 on a 1-10 scale. There is some minor rust in the lower front corners of the quarters and the door edges are getting weak. The car still looks and sounds great. I am sure I have forgot some things so please feel free to call me or email me with your questions. Thanks and good luck. Thanks. On Dec-20-10 at 14:58:10 PST, seller added the following information: The engine and clutch have less than 800 miles since it was done.
