1999 Taurus. Clean, needs a better engine. Very little rust. I bought this car for $900 based on a mechanic's recomendation; turns out he hadn't seen the car in months! The engine runs but smokes badly; it has a hole in a piston, which pressurized the crank and oil comes out the PVC hose. It needs a new engine. it's the 3.0L Vulcan (pushrod) 2V engine. I did drive the car a few miles (to another mechanic). It shifts well. I can't comment on anything else mechanical. The seats have no tears. No broken glass. I'm swallowing the loss. I am not putting anything at all into this car, so it's real cheap.
