1987 ford escort diesel with 96000 actual miles 4 door 5 speed thats very clean. 2.0 liter engine am/fm a/c/ p/b p/s new radial tires and a complete new brake system both with less than 2500 miles on them.the car has a new IMRON paint job that is about 6 months old and the interrior lools like new other than dash cracks. i bought this car from a estate sale about a year and a half ago it had been sitting under a shed since 1992 and with a new battery it started and drove home with no problems.since that time i have put about 8000 miles on the car problem free and just drove it on a 400 mile trip 3 weeks ago where i enjoyed 52 mpg on the interstate. however last week i noticed it was getting a little harder to crank when cold and started smoking alittle and had a power loss. i had a desial mechanic it and was told the injector pump was weak. at that point i found one for 100.00 but i know nothing about changing it or don't have the money to get someone else to do it so i am listing it here hoping to recover some of the money i have invested.it will start and run and drive but i don,t know how far or how long before the pump goes completly out. feel free to come and look and make a offer. you can call me at 704-974-3497 anytime for questions and directions or feel free to email me . thanks for looking and merry christmas to all
