1967 BMW R-Series

You're bidding on a refreshed 1967 BMW R50/2. The motor has been disassembled inspected and any worn parts have been replaced by me, including new slingers and piston rings. The motor has new seals and gaskets. The heads, and carbs have been rebuilt.This motor starts quickly, and runs well. The trans mission shifts smoothly. The bike has zero miles on the rebuild, and only a few minutes on the motor for tuning and adjustments. Motor oil is Rotella T 40W. Transmission shifts well and has 75/90 W gear oil in the case. The rear drive also has the same gear oil in it. The frame was stripped, cleaned and had tapered steering bearings installed.Machine is sold with a dry cell batter, and tire pump not shown in photos. All Swing arm bearings have been cleaned, inspected and lubed. All Wheel bearing have been cleaned inspected and lubed, as well as properly shimmed for preload. The steering lock works, as does the tool box in the tank.Fuel tank has a woking locking cap. The wheels came to me powder coated from the previous owner with SS spokes. New magura bars and grips, with original Albert perch mirror.Tires are new Avon AM 26 Road riders, with new tubes.Brake linings are new bonded units. Solo seat in excellent shape. All cables are new. The frame paint is in good condition with the usual small imperfections from ridding.The paint on the tank is original, the fenders were repainted at some point . The tank is in vey good shape with a slight scuff on the right side that doesnt show well in the photos. The fenders have a few scuffs but nothing too dramatic.
