I'm rather put off by eBay auctions that are little more than dealer showcases where you subsequently have to haggle through the whole sales process. So, in that spirit I'm offering what I think is the finest used Mini Cooper John Cooper Works Hardtop that has yet been auctioned on eBay. This 2010 model was delivered within two days of arriving at the dealership and has always been garaged. It is in truly pristine condition and has only twice been driven in the rain. I know these points are insignificant in themselves but isn't it better to buy a car that has been fanatically well maintained and kept in a heated and air conditioned garage for the whole of its life rather than being out on the dealer's lot, test driven by customers, shuffled around by lot personel, and smeared down by a cleaning team on Fridays? Well, I'm sure you get the picture. The car is very nicely optioned with full leather and a Premium Package including the dual pane panoramic sunroof, automatic climate control and Harmon Kardon premium sound system. Finished in optional Dark Silver paint, the rear fog lamp, Blue Tooth, satellite radio, white turn signals are all extras while most importantly the car also has the optional sports suspension plus xenon lights. The total price was $35,700 before taxes and license fees. I'm sorry that for some reason I can't get the copy of the original window sticker to appear in the photographs, however it will of course go with the car and if you do need to see it just email me at war5cry@aol.com and I'll forward it. It has been driven just over 3,800 hundred miles and has been carefully and properly broken in. I can't find any flaws externally and the interior appears just like it did when originally delivered. The wheels are unblemished and the tires have never been kerbed. It's always been a local suburban Los Angeles car and has never been smoked in. Really, just a "no excuses" car. While the Mini is still under its full original transferable manufacturer's warranty, there are no problems of any kind. Everything works exactly as it should: the clutch has never been abused and the six speed Getrag transmission shifts perfectly. The brakes show only the lightest of wear with the discs being unscored in any way. The car has never been "tracked", and all of the original books, keys and floor mats go with it. It is possible that the mileage may be slightly higher by the conclusion of the sale but will in any event not be over 4,000. There are no liens on the Mini; I have the title in hand and the car will be sold against CLEARED funds only, which are expected within three days of the end of the sale. We'll probably both be happiest with a verifiable Cashier's Check.
