Vehicle Detail

BEFORE BIDDING, PLEASE ASK QUESTIONS & UNDERSTAND THAT YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR TRANSPORTING THE CAR.A $200 non refundable deposit by Paypal is due within 24 hours of auction end with the remainder due when you pick up the vehicle within 7 days of auction end.The car is located in Mooresville, NC and is for sale as-is, where-is.Again, I have tried to be as clear as possible about the condition so ask any questions and I will be glad to answer promptly. This 1990 4th Generation Z32 'Z' is a one owner car that I bought new off the showroom floor and has spent it's entire life in the southeastern US (GA/NC). There is no rust whatsoever and it has only been involved in one very minor fender bender (right rear corner got bumped while sitting in stop & go traffic) which was professionally repaired and is completely unnoticeable. This was an 'every day driver' car periodically until this past summer hence the mileage. Cosmetically:The cloth interior and hatch area carpet shows some fading and like most you will find there is a small tear on the drivers seat from where the seatbelt rubs it. I have kept the original carpet mats covered so they are in excellent condition. There are no cracks in the dash or interior door panels. The paint is original and in general looks decent. Some of the non metallic trim is faded and/or flaking. I have not seen the T-Tops leak but the headliner (vinyl) material on the inside has pulled away. The inside t-top shades are fine as are both of the t-top sleeves. MechanicallyIt has new brakes (rotors & pads all around) and a new radiator. The engine is original and has had normal maintenance. The transmission was rebuilt at about 100k, the timing belt was changed at approx 100k and 200k, and the alternator was replaced at approx 150k. The factory Bose sound system is only partially functional. On this system, each of the 5 speakers is equipped with it's own amplifier and they are prone to failure. I have unplugged the rear speakers to avoid blowing the fuse. The mufflers have developed leaks so it sounds a little rough (needs exhaust replaced from the catalytic converter back) and the battery isn't reliable and would need to be replaced. The car has not been driven for several months and has some mechanical things that should be checked. It does start but sounds/runs a little rough partly due to exhaust (muffler/pipes) and because it is sitting. There is also leak somewhere in the power steering. I had the hoses replaced but after sitting awhile found the fluid level very low (although I don't see a puddle). When I started it/moved it in the yard, there was a binding sound in the drivetrain that may be due to sitting, fluid settled in trans, universal joint, ?? The car is currently registered and insured but I would recommend that the car be trailered vs. driven until these items can be checked/corrected. Although it does run, realistically I don't consider it to be reliable to drive every day as your primary transportation but it would be great for a 'tinkerer' or 'restorer' car.
