You are bidding on a 1999 VW Beetle.This car was my regular commuter to school and back for the last two years. It's a V4 so the mpg is fantastic. The vehicle was driven into a rather large puddle and the carpets and seats were soaked, Ill have it detailed before it’s shipped but the carpets may need to be replaced or just shampooed. The car doesn't start unless jumped and then after that it runs fine! So the battery and spark plugs may need to be replaced and the fluids and brakes need to be serviced as well. The beetle comes with a set of 4 stock 2005 beetle rims that I bought from a salvaged car to make it look updated! I also updated the radio to a stock 2005 CD player that makes the beetle an awesome commuter car! The speakers however need to be replaced to accompany the new CD player’s amplification. It also comes with two speedometers (the speedometers do not work properly in which I have been meaning to fix but have not had the time. This car was purchased because I wanted to restore it similar to what the 1970's beetle fanatics do. I still am regretting selling it because I want to restore every part to make her a classic and hold onto her, but university comes first. The car is missing cup holders and the key latch for the trunk is broke. I use the electric button on the interior to open the hatch anyway. Like I said I commuted all over with this beetle. I took her to the mountains of New paltz, NY and through winter storms of NY she is a tank and while SUV's get stuck in the snow the beetle triumphs through. She is great in the snow! The car needs some work but I think it will serve its new owner well once it’s fixed. The title has had a lien on it due to work that we had done at VW but all has been paid and it will come with a loan completion statement upon purchase. Please bid responsibly. The car was submerged in a puddle enough to cover the carpets. The engine seized at the time but it now works. We had a mechanic dry all the parts. This car could make someone really happy if he/she has the time to fix her. *The white powdery substance is deodorizer and because the car has been sitting for a few months now that could also be the reason the battery is dead. The rims are as pictured and will be polished upon purchase it also comes with 3 hubcaps pictured with the rims. It was taken to a mechanic 6 months ago and said that the oxygen sensor needs to be replaced. The oil light is on also. All the fluids and filters need to be changed. The brakes are in need of replacement but all together the car runs fine.I took her for a ride around the block and it is still olding strong like all German cars.
