Here we have another good forgotten project out of long term storage. This is a real PHS verified 1965 Pontiac GTO original 389 4 bbl, gauge package, 4 speed car. The car originally came with a 389 4 bbl but currently has a 1975 Trans Am 4 speed 400 motor with a 4 speed. The motor and 4 speed trani were just set in place for moveing. The car was painted at least 20+ years ago and as you can tell by the little to no rust condition was a good car to start. The vehicle has new rechromed front bumper and is 95% complete. The trunk is solid and 3 out of the 4 floor pans are very nice( their is an old patch on the drivers front floor pan). The body panels are all decent condition and the interior is original and also decent. The frame is solid and so are the inner and outer rockers. This is an excellent candidate for a good complete restoration as the mileage is original and the car is better than most unrestored projects. Happy HolidaysOn Nov-28-10 at 03:36:27 PST, seller added the following information: To answer a few more questions, the car has factory power steering but not brakes, it still has its original gauge package, it is a 10 bolt rear , the original 389 motor was gone over 20+ years ago, the radiator is a reconditioned beleave original heavy 3 or 4 core, and it was an original blue car. We inventoried the car and found the few parts missing, we are waiting to hear from the previous owner if he has the grab handle, 3 pieces of the drip edge trim and radio. The car was complete many years ago when it was taken apart and was in his garage alone with what looked like enough parts to build 5 more cars. The other items I don't see are the flywheel and headers. Their is a complete header back exhaust but no headers. If the buy now is used we will purchase a new set of headers and a good std flywheel to go with the car.
