Early 1949 Packard Std 8; 2292. 37,445 original miles. Recently painted stock serpinetine green metallic on straight body. Original interior with plastic seat covers since new. Std 3 spd transmission without OD. All gauges; including radio and clock work. Nice engine bay, stock color with mostly correct hoses, clamps and wires. Smooth, smokeless running engine and transmission without oil use. Flushed radiator. Rebuilt generator. All fluids have been changed, including; radiator, engine, air filter, brake, transmission, rear end and front wheel bearings greased. All grease zerts greased. Added new oil filter (optional). New wires, plugs, condensor and pts. Carburator rebuilt and tuned. Horn works with nice steering wheel. Head lights work, but have an intermittent short. Rear lights and brake lights work properly. Tail light bezels are 2100 series, easy fix. Good brakes that work well. 6 Volt front radiator electric fan to cool during slow crusing. New battery. Bumpers rechromed. Glass, rubber, and trim are good. Clean, rust free trunk and under carriage with light surface rust. Good 2 ply WWW tires, nice spare. Hub caps without dents, new beauty rings. Windshield wiper cables, wires and motor all hooked up, but don't work. Interior with some signs of wear left front corner. Rubber floor mats, pedals in excellent condition. Rug at side of front seat worn. New rear view mirror. Solid head liner and sun visors, right rear corner with light water stain and little loose at bottom. Running boards very nice. Seat handle broken. Minor pitting top crossbar grill and small chip in emblem. Always stored in garage and comes with car cover. Nice preservation class, recent local winner. Should be able to achieve circle of champions; 222 pts at Packard judging. I have dropped the price several times now and at the bottom. $16,500 OBO.
