Vehicle Detail
2003 Honda CBR 954RR Only driven about 5800 Miles Per Year!! CLEAN TITLE!CONSIDERING ALL OFFERS!SO DON'T BE AFRAID TO ASK!! I bought this bike needing some work and having the intentions to keep it and finish it out and ride it during the winter here in Florida as this is the best time of the year to ride. However, a business venture is upon me that I can not pass up and I need to have the capital in the bank rather than a bike in the garage. With that being said, this is the second 954 that I have ever owned and I can say without a doubt that this particular bike has been the most comfortable bike I have ever ridden on. I can ride to Miami and back from Palm Beach without even flinching. I’ve owned at least a dozen sportbikes ranging from 600s to 1000s and Yamaha’s to Suzukis. Nothing has ever been able to compare to this bike. I have spoke with other riders and several that have owned this bike agree with me that though they have moved on to other bikes this bike was the one to have for those long rides to the Keys or up to Daytona! Now as far as the specifics of this bike here is the breakdown: - Candy Gold Painted Rims - Freshly wrapped fairings with Marine Grade Waterproof Carbon Fiber Material - Driver and Passenger Seats have been recovered to match the Fairings - Fresh Gloss Black Paint Job on the Gas Tank - Semi Polished Main Frame - Double Bubble Windscreen - Polished RR Mirror Block Off Plates - RR Polished Swingarm Extensions - Lowered Front Forks through the Triple - Rear Lowering Link on Middle Setting - Chrome Oil Fill Cap - Goodridge Braided Brake Line on Rear - Front Wave Rotor - Rear Wave Rotor - Flushmount Front Turn Signals - LED Rear Turn Signals - Chrome WEIGHTED Bar Ends - Chrome Spike Windscreen Bolts - Two Brothers Carbon Flange on Pipe - Numerous little bits and pieces to replace nuts, bolts, rubbers, etc. I have been able to put in some seat time on this bike and she rides great. The transmission shifts smooth and positive with no clutch slippage. The engine idles smoothly with no hesitation and there are no check engine lights on at any time. Brakes work great and have not given me any problems. The bike is actually pretty much stock with the exception of the exhaust. Oil was just changed and air filter is a stock clean paper filter. Checked the plugs and looks like they are burning clean and do not need replacement at this time. I am a very anal person and I can pick the bike apart if I wanted to but wear and tear is typical for its age. The only items that you could possibly address are some new levers, maybe some new brake reservoirs, and a few other little bits and pieces to make it your own look. Its not that they look bad they just show their age a little bit and I would have replaced them if I was keeping the bike just to really make it clean looking. The front tire is a new Michelin Pilot Power. The Rear is also the same but is worn. I would say it will get you through this season before replacement. **UPDATE AS OF 11/24/10**I ordered a new Battery, Stator, and Rectifier to cure a charging issue that I was unaware of. All other typical wiring gremlins from the factory have been addressed. Bike should be ready for delivery mid to late next week when all the parts come in. I believe whoever buys this bike will truly enjoy it and it will be a ONE OF A KIND motorcycle that you can show off and be proud of!!
