Up for Auction 1- 1972 Mercury Carpi 2000 4 cylinder OHC 4 Speed Manual with Dealer installed A/C 2 dr Coupe. Has been sitting for many years, is not currently running and has not ran for about 3 years but was running when it was moved and parked in a new location. The Engine turns freely, the transmission shift and the cluth engages normally, and it rolls fine. The body has rust behind the wheels, some on the rockers, some in the trunk, some on the corners of the trunk lid, & some along the crome trim on the sides some "bondo" on the the drivers side front fender and some on the rear fender as well. Someone was working on the body at one point and it has been sanded down to bare metal in most places and primered. The interior need work seats have cracks and the carpet is discolored the back seat is in good condition, all the glass is good, most of the crome is good and present, with a full set of factory wheels and a spare with hub cap. I recently purchased this car and others from an estate and know almost nothing about it.. The car needs work but it is restorable.... OR, just use it for parts there are plenty of good things on it. I will assist you in the shipping or transportation as need to get the vehicle to you at your cost! I do have many acres to store it for you including multiple barns so you will have time to move it. The auction must be paid for within 5 days of close via Paypal or overnight funds money order or cashiers check (we will have to wait until the check clears for pick up can be arranged...I had recently been almost screwed multiple times on worthless people with worthless scam check) .. The car is located 40 miles north or Nashville Tennessee and 15 South of Bowling Green Kentucky east of the city of Franklin very easily accessible from Interstate 65.
