This the best year (OBD-1) and one of the rarest colors *Dakar Yellow* ! I'll do us all a favor and explain everything as best as possible but, I asked a few things of you... #1.- If you are serious about the car, COME see it IN PERSON. We have no problem walking around the car over the phone but, we are a very busy shop and you will save everyone a lot of time by taking a drive to see it with your own eyes. We are: 2.5 hours from Phili, 2.5 hours from Washington D.C, 3 hours from NYC, 2 hours from Baltimore and 3 hours from Pittsburgh. #2.- Everyone always wants to make offers over the phone, NO offers will be taken over the phone so, save your time. #3.- The car is fine, runs & drives great- but, we are not perfect and it is possible we missed something, so COME see it in person. #4.- Read the WHOLE auction BEFORE you call with questions, we have no time for stupid people...and if you are getting mad reading this- MOVE on and waste someone elses time. Recent new parts/ Service work: The car has a new PA state inspection as well as 4 new tires, valve cover gasket, oil change (synthetic), New brake calipers, brake rotors and brakes. I think it also has new control arms and bushings as well, (just can't remember to be honest) but, the front end is tight. I know for a fact that the rear shock mounts are going bad as I hear them when driving, we may have time to replace them within the next few days- if not, we will include a pair of them with the car. (they take less than an hour to replace and really don't do much). Engine / Transmission: The S50 6cyl. runs strong, shifts fine, clutch does not slip, car does NOT smoke, I drove the car over 100+ miles myself. The car appears to be adult owned (factory radio, orig speakers, orig. wheels,etc...) Sure, it has a lot of miles but, again- engine is very strong, trans and diff are 100%. Body / Paint: The overall appearance is GREAT! The body is very solid and VERY clean. The car has ALL the orig. VIN stickers on ALL the body panels and shows no signs of ever being in a wreck. There are a few small surface rust spots spots near the trunk lid latch and there are a few spots where it looks like someone buffed through the paint on the edges, there is a faded(?) spot on the drivers front fender and mirror... I have no idea how this happens?! It may have had some paintwork but, other than the fender faded spot -I don't see any signs of paintwork really...again- ALL of the body panels are orig and VIN match the car. Interior: The "LUXURY" package interior is in decent shape, nice dash, nice headliner, the top of the steering wheel has a little wear, the radio works fine, all the guages work, etc... Its just a good car all around... The A/C is my only whine- the A/C turns on inside but, does not get cold, we honestly did not even look at it. The HEATER DOES work. Title / Odometer: The car has a clean PA title. The odometer is true and correct. Payment: If you bid on the car, you must have the money, we are serious sellers, we are a BMW shop- Not some joker who is going to relist this car 20 times... Bid to win. A non-refundable down payment is due within 48 hours of end of auction (Credit card, PAYPAL or cash in hand), the car must be paid in full within 3 days unless prior plans are made, (Credit card, or Cash in hand- PAYPAL can NOT be used to pay in full.) This means, you CALL us to make arrangements BEFORE you bid on the car. Tax, tags, etc: We issue PA temp. tags onsite, PA residents must pay all state sales taxes ,tags ,fees, etc. Out of state buyers have the option of a 30 day transit tag for $55.00. All buyers need a drivers lic. and valid insurance card in the buyers name. All of our titles are electronic titles until car is registered in PA. Or PA title will be sent UPS overnight to buyer after payment has cleared. Shipping / Storage: The car must be picked up within 7 days unless PRIOR plans are made. We don't have a problem storing the car longer once its paid for and we have talked to the buyer. Again- CALL us FIRST to make arrangements.
