This auction is for a VERY CLEAN 2001 Honda Gold Wing GL1800A (ABS). This bike was a rally demo bike for CycleGadgets.com, we used it to display some of the products we offered at motorcycle shows around the country. It was trailered to shows and kept in immaculate visual condition for display purposes. Some of our products require a 2006+ bike to demonstrate so we are selling this older display bike. We have removed most of our display items, so this Gold Wing is in nearly stock condition. If the auction winner would like the MotoLight left on the bike, we will do so for an additional $250.00 above the auction price (retail price on these MotoLights is $505.00). Otherwise the MotoLights will be removed prior to delivery of the bike. This bike has been mechanically flawless. Although its primary purpose was as a display, we did ride it on short trips (200-500 miles) several times a year in order to evaluate different accessories to see how well they worked in a real-world environment. It has Metzler ME880 Marathon tires with excellent tread, good for several thousand miles. The left fairing pocket has been modified to reduce its size, it's now about 2" deep with an aluminum plate bottom. This was done to make room for some electronics that we had under that pocket. The electronics have been removed so if you want a full-depth pocket you can order one through a Honda dealer. The bike is on display at our shop in Eureka Springs, Arkansas but is being sold only here on eBay - if you want to come to the shop and look at it, feel free to do so, but anyone interested in purchasing will be directed to place a bid here.
