I bought this bike 5 years ago and I have put about 5000 miles on it. Since I bought it, all 4 carbs have been rebuilt. It has a new battery and a new electronic voltage regulator. I added the windshield. The chain was recently replaced. The old chain can go with it. I don't think it was all that bad but the master link came apart. I also have a new rear sprocket to go with it. I was going to put that on to raise the gear ratio for better MPG. It gets about 40 MPG anyway. I was riding it 40 miles one way to work regularly and a few road trips. At least until I bought a Sportster. It has a 4 into 1 exhaust. Although it was stored for a while, everything works. I took it out and rode it last week. I did notice that the tach was a little sticky. A little WD 40 and more frequent use should take care of it. It does have a few imperfections. The fuel tank has some scratches and there is a small dent in it. The seat and backrest are in decent condition. The back rest has a couple of small tears. The front is slightly off to the left but it still rides great. I should keep this bike and ride it back and forth to work instead of the Harley. But bills come first. Email me with any questions.
