1982 Honda CX500

I am selling my old friend... I've had this bike for about 10 yrs. It's in good shape for the year (1982) a few dents and dings but still looks good on the road. It runs but needs some TLC and I just don't have the time or space to work on her. She needs a pit cock (leaks gas), new battery (has to be charged everytime you ride) and fork seals. This would be a good starter bike or restoration project. These bikes run out great and I hate to sell her but I've just got too many toys. I'm selling this for local pick up only. Bike was last rode this past summer but needs work before it is road ready which is why I did not place a reserve. You will not be able to ride this home it will have to be hauled. It needs charged and the fuel leak will have to be fixed before it is in good running condition. The motor and drive runs good on this bike. Once the repairs are made it will be a good little runner. 2. The paint is faded on the bike logo and there is a little rust on the pipes. 3. The seat is in good condition with no tears or cracks. 4. The bike was garage kept. 5. The actual miles are under 7200 as pictured not 7800 but I can't correct the miles at the top of the ad at this time.
