Vehicle Detail
Up for auction is my 1969 Oldsmobile Toronado. The car is in perfect running and driving condition. The 375HP 455 runs like a watch and it sports a fresh Turbo 425 transmission. The Power Disc brakes work nice and the car stops straight and smooth. The tires are nice Michelins with 90% of the tread left. The car has a new gas tank, fuel pump and a rebuild carb. The wipers and squirter's work and the speedometer is smooth. The heat and A/C works but the A/C needs some freon to be ice cold. The Wonder Bar A/M F/M 8 Track radio has a mind of its own as it works when it wants to. It seems like the problem is in the volume control as it fades in and out. The original power antenna works good. All the power windows work nice and smooth and the window seals are in good shape because the car was Garage kept in Georgia most of its life. The glass is all in nice shape and the wind shield has been replaced. The car has just over 100k miles. The dual exhaust in nice and quiet. The car is 99% rust free with the only rust being some small bubbles in the left rear quarter panel. The paint still has a very nice shine and I get complements on the car every time I take it out. The Nixon bumper sticker is fun too. The interior is in very good condition with only some minor tears in the drivers seat. The front seat is power and it works good. The dash pads and door panels are mint. The car has a power trunk release and the head light doors open and close as they should. Over all its a really nice old car that shouldn't need any thing other than normal maintenance. I just put plugs, wires cap, rotor and new points in along with a fresh oil change so there is nothing for the new owner to do other than drive it. I also invite anyone who would like to see the car to fly or drive in. I will pick you up at the airport in the car so you can see what I mean about this sweet ride. I can also store the car inside for a month or so if you need to arrange shipping. I see no reason why the car couldn't be driven any where so take a bus train plane or what ever then just drive it home. Please call me or Email with specific questions as I'm sure I forgot something. Thanks and good luck. I have lowered the reserve a grand to make up for it.
