Hi, I am selling my 2003 Black BMW Z4 3.0i. The car has never give me any trouble except common problems on this car. New Parts: -Engine Gasket -Front EBC performance slotted drilled rotors, Green EBC brake pads -Rear ceramic brake pads -Black Sport 17" wheels and performance winter tires. (more than 60% depth) -New Spark plugs -new performance ignition coils -new drive belt -new performance pulleys -change engine oil within 3000 miles -new k&n air filter -New battery Some issues: 1. When the local auto shop changed my front brake rotors and pads at a shop they did something wrong with the speed sensor and it caused the brake, traction control, and ABS light on. However, the car still drive fine. It is just warning you that you need to replace the speed sensor as soon as possible. The speed sensor only cost less than $40 on ebay and labor is less and half hour. 2. coolant tank leaking: It is also a common problem on 03 Z4 that the factory coolant tank may leak after 60000 miles. I have the new part with me. 3. The air bag light on: it is a recall issue for BMW Z4. You must call BMW dealership to fix the problem. It is free to fix it.4. Need computer reset. (Dealership) 4 month ago, z4's battery was totally died in one middle of no where. I called AAA for rescue and went to advance to change my battery, but a guy didn't know that he needed charge the car as same time as he changed the battery. It caused the computer memory lost. It caused the convertible not working by automatic button. However, it works very well in manual. Need to reset computer from BMW dealership. Cost $100 usually you can negotiate the price with dealer if you do other maintenance works. 5. The passenger side of rear panel was hit by a concrete column. I have a silver panel to replace it. (It will cost $400 to fix it. It is a estimate by a auto body shop near Philadelphia, pa, so you may have lower estimate than $400) Reason of selling the car: It's not about the problems, it will only cost less than a thousand to fix all the problems. I need a automatic AWD for my wife since she complaining about shifting the gears those stuff. BMW Z4 3.0 was the greatest model in 2003. It give you a great handling in cornering, and very fast acceleration. It is the no.1 efficiency sport car in the year of 2003. Highway 30 mpg; City about 20 to 24 mpg depend how you drive. The price of beautiful beast z4 has no reserve!!! 0-60 miles less than 5.5 sec All other parts are in grate conditions. My lost is your gain.
