This Dodge was recently traded at a new car franchise in Colorado Springs on a brand new Dodge. They don't sell vehicles like this, so we acquired it from them. The truck is in pretty nice shape and has very low mileage for a 5.9. It has the coveted 6-speed transmission, a clean no road salt Colorado history; it's well equipped, runs and drives great, and needs nothing! exterior The paint and body on this truck are in good presentable shape. It has a clean history, no accidents, however, the drivers door has been replaced with a used door. It looks fine, jamb isn't damaged, hinges fine and seals well, my best guess is it was probably kicked by a farm animal and was easier to replace than re-skin. The rest is all original, nice and straight, good gloss, no body rust, hail, or noticeable damage. The flatbed is in good condition and has had the paint touched up just to make it shine. The wheelskins and windshield are new. The tires have good even tread all the way around. The truck has some light normal wear as to be expected with any flatbed. The right front fender had a little nick our PDR guy bumped out. The drivers door has 1 nick, passenger door has one, front end has some light pitting from freeway driving, and the rockers in behind the front tires are chipped up. We can have them airbrushed to seal if you like, no extra charge. The photos document everything. It's still a work truck, but definitely not abused. Have a look! interior The interior is pretty clean. It smells pleasant, not like smoke, didn't see any burns either. It's an SLT which is a bit hard to find in the regular cab flat beds because most are just cheapie work rigs. The truck has all power options, even seating, has a cd player, tilt, cruise, etc. Everything works nicely, air blows cold. The upholstery is very nice, no rips or tears, carpet is fine, doors, headliner etc, all ok. There are some scratches on the passenger dash side, shown in the photos, and the ash tray face is missing. Other than that, everything is all fine inside. mechanical This truck runs and drives excellent and should. An 03 with 89k on a 5.9 is literally just broken in. The motor is quiet, doesn't rattle, I know what a tired 5.9 sounds like. It idles smooth, drives nice and straight, tons of power, and trans is perfect. The clutch was done 24k miles ago, probably had the dual mass flywheel springs wear out which was common on these. They develop a vibration at idle and get worse over time. Most shops will recommend replacing them with the single mass and doing a new clutch at the same time; dimes to dollars that's what they did here. The truck has brand new brakes at all 4 corners. The oil, filter, and fuel filter are all new as well. The truck has been through our shop, 4x4 works great, drives easy, very civilized and nice running pickup.
