Welcome bidders, You have the chance to own a 1983 Honda Gold Wing Interstate. If you're a Gold Wing fan you know that 1983 was the last year for the GL1100 and many believe it to be the best year. These motorcycles run smoothly and many last upwards of 300,000 miles. With this one at 50,640 miles you'll have plenty of life left in the bike. This motorcycle runs smooth cruises effortlessly at 70-80 mph down the highway. Even after sitting for a year while I was in Iraq it fired right up on the first try, that was after replacing the battery. This is a great old bike with many miles left to ride. Recently replaced/serviced: New fork seals All new brake pads New front left brake rotor New battery Fresh oil/filter (less than 5 miles on the oil change) New spark plugs (come with the bike, not installed, old ones still work fine) Remember, this is a 27 year old motorcycle, and it is nowhere near perfect. It does have normal wear due to its age to including but not limited to: minor surface rust on frame, rust on exhaust pipes (no holes or rust-through), clear coat peeling on tank and saddle bags in some areas, minor cracks in some plastic pieces like the fairing and trunk, and worn mirror joints (mirrors will move while riding). Overall, this bike in in fair condition, but it does run and ride very well. I wouldn't be afraid to ride it anywhere. If you are the winning bidder and you live in Indiana I would be willing to ride the motorcycle to you. I'll ride it free if you're within 50 miles from Greentown, Indiana, but I will charge one dollar per mile after 50 miles. Keep in mind, winter is approaching and the weather may not permit me to ride the bike to you. If you do not want me to ride to you, or you live outside of Indiana, I will work with a shipping company of your choice, or you can personally come pick the bike up. I will not ship the motorcycle for you. I am selling this motorcycle as is, where is with no warranty expressed or implied. Once it leaves my driveway, I am no longer responsible for it.
