Vehicle Detail
Condition Vehicle overall is Very Good. Engine runs perfectly, quietly and burns no oil. Gas mileage is mid-14 to mid-15 around town and about 18 on the highway. I have gotten just over 20 mpg on its last ten hour trip. Transmission shifts as it should and has had all scheduled maintenance performed -- I understand that this is low mileage for this eng/trans and the mechanics tell me they rarely see these transmissions in for repair. Tires are 50k Cooper Discoverer ATR and are excellent in the snow. The have about 20k on them. Front brakes have about 20k on them, the rears are new (see note below under "needs"). Interior is very good with no rips, tears or damage anywhere, but front drivers has faded a bit (see photos). It has never been smoked in. Floor carpeting is excellent under the mats. Body is in good shape, except noted below, and door bottoms have no rust. The paint is pretty good, but there are the usual stone nicks on the leading hood edge and parking lot small dings on the sides. The list of vehicle's needs; 1. Front valance is broken out under the right fog lamp (see photos). Having just replaced it last winter for cracking it against a snow bank, I was stupid enough to do the exact same thing two months later. I have the old valance, and the part that's broken on the vehicle can be cut from the old and fit into the new, if you feel like doing the body work; 2. Brakes need to be bled; 3. Left front brake caliper needs bleeder either removed with EZ-out, or the caliper needs to be replaced, as it snapped off when I attempted to bleed the brakes this past spring; 4. Rust has started to show on right rear rocker panel (see photos) and the rear bumper under the stock hitch ball. Features The only things I have added that are non-stock is the Air Hog filter and a Reese Class II hitch, which probably got used twice to haul a utility trailer with a mower on it. Who I Am I understand the difficulty of trying to bid seriously on a vehicle you've never actually seen. Please email me and I will send you my phone number so you can call me. I'll tell you everything I can about this SUV. I want you to feel confident about what to expect from this SUV and from me. I have been a long-time eBayer with a perfect record, and I intend to keep it that way. What we should both expect during this transaction is no surprises. I believe I am the second owner of this SUV and have owned it about 6 years and put about than 8k miles on a year. The Legal Mumbo: Terms of Sale If you are new to online auctions, please read eBay's User Agreement guide for buyers. At successful close of this auction, the vehicle is considered sold to the highest bidder. Your bid constitutes a legally binding contract to purchase this vehicle. If you have questions or concerns, please address them before bidding. When you win, you win, and it’s a done deal. I will contact the winning bidder by e-mail after the auction closes. You must respond by email within 24 hours to confirm your purchase. Deposit and Balance Payments The winning bidder of this motorcycle must arrange payment of a $500.00 non-refundable deposit within two days of close of auction, at which time I will send you a copy of the title and a signed “intent of sale contract” in consideration of receipt of full payment. If the $500.00 deposit is not received within three business days, I reserve the right to consider the transaction null and void and re-list or sell the vehicle to the next highest bidder. I will not accept a personal check for the deposit. Deposit payment can be via PayPal, but I am not a dealer, so if you wish to pay via credit card through PayPal, I don’t wish to be stuck with the credit card fees (add 3% for fees). I will also accept verifiable certified or cashiers checks. The balance of the selling price must be made within 10 days, but contact me for my acceptance for the remainder of payment, and please remember to allow that any certified check must be verified and/or clear my bank before I proceed with the transaction. As always, I prefer CASH at time of vehicle delivery. Upon verification of full payment, I will send you the title via USPS Express Mail. Before you bid, I would be happy to fax a copy of the title to you. Contact me to discuss any other arrangements. I reserve the right to end or cancel this auction if the vehicle is no longer available. In addition, I reserve the right to cancel bids or the auction, and re-list the vehicle at any time at my discretion for such reasons as: bid retractions occur in the last 24 hours, bidders have insufficient positive feedback, or high bidder has excessive negative feedback. If you have less than five positive feedbacks, please contact me, Please do not bid if you do not intend to complete this transaction or you are financially unable to purchase this motorcycle.
