Here's a Riviera Camper with new: front seats, TOTALLY overhauled, NEW, brakes, mirrors - truck mirrors in the pics are gone - new elephant ears are installed - new pics coming, truck tires, powdercoated rims. External oil filter mount installed in back. Everything works. 1600 DP just inspected by one of the best VW engine outfits in the Seattle area. Transmission shifts flawlessly. Car was garaged for the previous 15 years. I'll be selling the bus with a nicely running 40 horse engine. I drove the bus today on the freeway. Yeeeeehaaaaa...! First time it's seen the highway in 15 years! The wood interior is completely intact! I even have a folding table for the middle. The rust - I have sheetmetal in green primer to replace, which is INCLUDED in the sale! outer driver and pax floor pans, cargo door rockers inner and outer and 1/4 the cargo floor, and the outer drivers side rocker skin. Many of the panels need shaping. I don't see bondo in the nose. The drivers door needs a channel grafted in at the bottom of the door. Battery tray replacement panel is included, 'cause the original's a goner. The great news is that the undercoating is nice throughout. The aft cargo floor and riser under the rear seat and rear tray are factory paint with zero rust! The minimal rust and wood interior attracted me to the project, but I am now switching my focus to my first VDub back - a 74 Weekender Type 2 - and don't need two campers. I have the rear bumper, and can get it straightened... An intact Rivi side window will come with her. The current has cracked glass... Instead of gouging for more, the price offered is the current amount into the project. I haven't seen a driveable split window for less, let alone with the intact interior...
