For sale is my 1989 Saab 900 Turbo Convertible. I purchased this vehicle on eBay last April from First Federal Auto Auction, Pennsauken,NJ. After purchasing, I had the oil changed, and had it tuned up. The engine is the 16 valve, 2.0 Liter 4 cyl. Turbo. It runs smooth with no smoke from the exhaust or the turbo. The 5 speed manual transmission was inspected for defects, and shifts well. The tires and alloy rims are in good shape. The cruise control works well, and the brakes are in good shape. The power convertible top is in good condition, but has a small tear about 1 inch long over the drivers door. It has been patched from underneath and is hardly noticeable. The headliner is in average condition. It is equipped with a panasonic am/fm/stereo. The a/c belt is missing, and I do not know if the compressor works. Power steering and locks work well, as does the tachometer, but the horn does not work-may be a fuse. The driver seat has a tear in the seam, and the seats leather shows the wear of a 21 year old car. Has factory intermittent wipers and power mirrors. The paint maintains a very nice luster for the age of the vehicle, and the hood has some rust at the very front. Some of the wheel molding trim has pieces missing and has a small dent in the trim by the rear bumper. The dash has cracks that are normal for the age of the car. The windshield has a crack at the bottom right side, but should pass inspection. The antenna needs fixed. Both windows on the drivers side do not go down. The back one may only need a switch, and the front one needs a motor. Carpets need cleaned, but otherwise fine for their age. The driver side door has rust on the bottom, and it would be best to replace it. I found one on eBay for $100. The item number is #380181825233. Passenger side door panel needs cloth partially tucked back in.
