This is a one of a kind Datsun 2000 Roadster. I guarantee you can not find one with less miles! It was a daily driver for a year or two (local) and runs/drives like a new car. Starts on the first turn and the transmission is nice and tight (5speed) hums in 5th gear! Many new parts on the car since 2004: New carburetors (upgrade with glass balls on floats), new starter, new seats, newer top (some wear now but looks good, plastic windows great), newer carpet, dash cap and more. I have a slue of very valuable extra parts in boxes inside. Negatives: I will try to describe the car as accurately as possible...maybe to a fault because i am searching for negatives. The car is an older restoration and showing some years. Some rust bubbles have appeared on closer inspection this last year. Mostly on the hood edge, the trunk edge and a couple lower areas (seen in pictures). Usually where the metal is thinner. As far as body work it wouldn't take much to fix these sections. Most however have not bubbled through yet though. And from a distance the car looks amazing. Floor is great! The top has a few grommets pulled through and has rubbed thin in 2, 3" sections ont the main frame. However is looks very good still and the windows are in great shape. It is completely functional. I am missing the driverside interior door panel but have two good condion passenger side ones (could sell/trade for a left). Have most of the trim and bumpers but they could use work/rechroming. Liked the look of a stripped down racer as well. Overall an amazing piece of history and one classic car that is reliable and a great driver. Great head room and performance! Not your MG! If you like to drive your classics... this is for you! Turn key... get in and drive it home. Parts are still readily available (plus the large inventory with the car).
