Vehicle Detail
This is a very rare 5-speed manual 1991 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP. It was parked 7 years ago and hasn't moved since. It ran fine but did have some transmission noise when shifting into second before it was parked. The tires are completely wore but still hold air. It comes with a refurbished transmission that was bought at auction (see picture of the inside of the trunk and a spare engine for parts (not pictured). There is some damage to the molding on the drivers side door that is preventing the door from opening all the way without help. The HUD worked most of the time but every once and a while would cut out. The sunroof sometimes would not open without pressing the button a few times. The CD player does not work but the radio does. I recently replaced the master cylinder and had to remove the upper intake manifold. The upper intake is still off the car. I believe everything else was in working order when the car was parked. This is being sold as is and is a project car. I had plans on restoring this car but do to change in priorities, I won't be able to start for many years. I found it when I was working for a local dealership. The dealership had taken possession of the car when a customer couldn't pay for the replacement of the timing belt. I bought it off the dealer and put it back on the road. I drove it as my primary vehicle for about 3 years and about 50000 miles. Once the tires wore out I decided it was better to stop putting miles on it and get another car. I drove it to the spot where it sits today. The car must be picked up within 2 weeks of auction closing. I am willing to work with a shipping company if needed.
