Vehicle Detail

You will be bidding on a very clean, nice looking Ford Explorer. I have to auction this again, so please only bid if you will pay. I bought this from my brother, only to have the Transfer Case go out. We fixed that no problem. It was the Shift Range Fork. It is now fine, and works great. Not even a week after fixing the Transfer Case, a wierd clacking noise started ( see video). The Tensioners for the Rear Timing Chain are bad. Every garage I should just replace the motor. So if you have a motor, and you need a great looking Explorer, or if you need some Explorer parts, you are in luck. This thing still drives great, starts great and even runs great, but I can not honestly say for how much longer. The tires are in great shape. The headliner, great shape. The body, straight. The seats, solid, no tears but some spots from everyday use. Some spots on the roof in the rain channels that have a few spots where the metal shows through, with a buit of surface rust as seen in the picture. The air is cold. The CD player works great. When my brother put in the radio though, he kind of rednecked the speakers, so I included a picture of his wiring. It works, and as long as you date is not looking for them, she wont see them. I am disappointed to sell the Explorer, but after the Transfer Case, I am tired of working on it and can't bring myself to climb under it anymore. I'll answer any questions you have as soon as I can. Thanks for bidding and good luck. On Oct-29-10 at 15:39:31 PDT, seller added the following information: Sorry for the mislisting. It is a V6. Not the 8. The 4.0 engine. Sorry for any confusion. Someone brought it to my attention.
