This is a pretty nice example of the Mercedes E55. We bought this car in 2006 and it has been my wife's driver for 4 years. It has been a great car, serviced regularly and we have had absolutely no problems with it. We have a toddler and another one on the way so we are getting rid of this car and moving into an SUV or (ugh!) a minivan.... This car is equipped w/ all the options. It has two tone leather, navigation, disc changer, sunroof, power sunshade in addition to all the other standard features and options. If you are looking at this then you probably know what you are looking at but the AMG E55 comes with mega horsepower, AMG Brakes/suspension, AMG badging and body moldings, and full AMG exhaust. The car is currently sitting on 19' aluminum wheels w/ brand new tires. I have the original AMG wheels also w/ like new tires and you can take your pick. You can have both sets- just add $500 to your final bid (less than the cost of the tires alone!!!). The windows are tinted and there is a small lip spoiler added to the trunk. The car runs GREAT. It has tons of power and the AMG brakes stop it on a dime. The car has had the oil changed and service done regularly. It has a new MB air compressor so you have ice-cold air. It also has new brake pads front and rear. Other than that it hasn't had any parts changed because it hasn't needed it- it is a great car. Here are the hiccups! It has a few dings here and there. NO major stuff but a few door dings and a little scuff on the front bumper (see pic). The windshield is in good shape but does have a couple of VERY small (non-growing) nicks. The wheels are in good shape but not perfect. It is basically an above average example of a 10 year old car with 90k miles. It still gets tons of compliments and looks great I'm just trying to "keep it real". If you are looking for a nice AMG with a ton of life left in it at a reasonable price than you've found it. Again, this car has a ton of "eyeball" and runs great. This car looks great, needs nothing, has tons of performance, ice-cold air, great stereo, all the options, the MB / AMG name at a great price!!! This is a no reserve auction- the real deal- winning bid takes the car. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT BID if you don't intend to (or can't) follow through. There are WAY too many confirmations throughout the bidding process to bid by mistake. I WILL NOT FINANCE NOR WILL I TAKE TRADES. This is a real car deal. I am for real, have the car ready to go w/ title in hand please be real on your end, have the money ready, and don't dork around.... If you want to play around or jump in because it's fun- go to facebook or something ..... I'm trying to sell a car here! Sorry to you serious people out there but it seems that it takes about three times to run a car through here before you get someone who can actually understand what an auction is. On Oct-31-10 at 05:53:02 PDT, seller added the following information: A couple of things to note. There is a taillight out and it is not the bulb. We replaced the bulb and it worked and then stopped again. Not sure if it's a short or what-I'll talk to my dealer on Monday and see if I can get more clarity. Also, the cupholder is broken. If you are familiar w/ these cars you know that when you open up the cupholder there are two- one is stationary and there is a flimsy little mechanism that flips over to make another cupholder. This one is not working- I have the parts but I wouldn't put hot coffee in it!!! Ouch! Sorry for the late notice but again- this is my wife's car and I wasn't aware of these itmes.
