Up for bid is a 1998 GMC 2500 series ¾ ton work truck with a 2 door extended cab with a long bed. Mechanically it is sound it has many new parts as listed below, but physically it is not in good shape. It has a smooth running 5.7L 350 engine that was recently upgraded to multiport fuel injection, and the 4L80E transmission shifts great. The truck has 128,000 miles on it. This truck came from the factory without a rear seat since there are not any seat belts in the rear of the cab. The truck is in New Haven, MI 48048. Do not bid on this auction if your feedback is 0 or 1. Just a side note it was raining when I took the pictures and that is what the little dots are on the sides of the truck. New parts on the truck: Radiator Hoses Radiator thermostat Belt Starter Spark plugs Spark plug wires Distributor cap and rotor Alternator Water pump Timing chain Brake pads all the way around the truck Front calipers Truck was upgraded with electric fans to improve gas mileage, I still have the mechanical fan and shroud too. High pressure A/C switch Both front lower ball joints and the driver’s side upper ball joint. Fuel filter Things that are not good on the truck: There are many dents all over the truck. The truck use to be yellow and the yellow is showing threw in some places. The previous owner was a paving company so there is tar all over the truck. There appears to be a big dent behind the driver’s door that someone filled with bondo, and the bondo has cracked. The driver’s door handle is cracked but still works. The key does not unlock the passenger door. The truck needs tires all the way around the truck. The passenger side mirror is cracked. Only the am side of the radio works. The glove box door falls off when it is opened. The passenger side of the seat is missing its head rest. The driver’s side seat belt does not retract on the lap belt, the shoulder belt works fine. A/C currently does not work; I was told it needed a condenser which would cost $300 dollars to repair. $500 dollar deposit is due within 3 days by Paypal, and truck needs to be fully paid for and picked up within 7 days of the end of the auction. By bidding on this truck you are now obligated to complete the transaction. If you don’t complete the transaction I will report you.
