1976 Honda CB

You are bidding on a 1976 Honda CB750. I bought this and another CB750 (on another auction) to have a ride after selling my Harley. The Harley didn't sell, and I no longer need this bike. I ride it occasionally just to keep things working. Everything works and it rides good. The odometer shows 12,755 miles. The previous owner stated it was correct. When I bought it, it wouldn’t run because the owner had misadjusted the valves, which weren’t closing, and the owner had started removing the engine. I remounted the engine, did a few adjustments, and it started right up. I’ve done the following: Reinstalled / tightened the motor mounts and bolts, cleaned and gapped the points and set the timing, adjusted the valves, replaced the battery, the front disc brake caliper was cleaned, flushed, and bled with new fluid, and the turn signal flasher was replaced. It looks quite good, but has 2 cosmetic dents, one in the front fender and one in the tank, shown in the pix. There are some stress-cracks in the plastic side covers, which don’t show in the pix. They have been reinforced on the back side and are really noticeable only when the covers are removed. There is some discoloration in the chrome on the top of the left muffler, but the muffler is solid and functional. Maine did not title vehicles before 1975, and 1975 to 1985 vehicles were only titled for 10 years. There is no title, and this bike will be sold with a bill of sale. Shipping is the buyer's responsibility to arrange and pay for. I will cooperate with the shipping company and assist in loading as needed. Local pickup is welcome.
