1988 very clean GMC wedge bed car hauler,454 big block throttle body, 3 speed automatic, shinny red paint,been repainted, NO RUST ,a southren truck, still garage kept,very clean and not faded, has 160,000 highway miles on it, think there is 40,000 miles showing on speedmeter, this year speedometer dont have the spot for the 1 to show 100,000 , the old exhaust burnt the cable, and new dual 3 inch flowmasters where installed, the trans was rebuilt before I bought it from the previous owner,think its a turbo 400, the motor runs strong and dont smoke, leaks a few drops on garage floor when sits overnight, not going down the road, not sure what the rearend ratio is?, has 6 new tires,everything for the power sterring was just replaced,icluding the hydro vac and sterring box, up dated LED lights for tail light, truck has two 20 gallon tanks, gets only 10 miles to the gallon,loaded or empty,most weight I ever had on it was16,800,which was the truck and car sitting on the scale at scrape yard ,empty truck weight is about 7,800,truck length = 30 feet long,the bed which most people say its a hodges bed?, NOW the not so bad things about the truck the fuel gauges works,but only shows 1/2 when full, which means 1/4 is half, a tank and empty goes a while, think the passenger side fuel pump is bad or out ?, the a/c works,but blows hot, think it will need rear brakes soon,speedometer dont work,needs a longer cableOn Sep-12-10 at 07:56:25 PDT, seller added the following information: Just added a few up close pics, this truck is ready to go anywhere, does use a little oil,never seen it smoke or dont leak going down the road, just typical big block oil useage, has dual tool boxes,pull out ramps that clip on,set up for trailer brake, this truck sits more than I use it,dont really what to sell,but could use the garage space to finish other projects
