Vehicle Detail

This has been a very reliable car for me. This car was probably a luxury car of its time. It is built very solidly and elegantly. I am the second owner and the first owner used an indoor garage to park his car (until year 2005). He drove the car 75,000 miles in 16 years. I am listing this car because I need to move from New York to Oregon. I am also moving to a high paying job now, so I am upgrading. The car is in great condition mechanically. Last year (June 2009) I drove the car from Wisconsin to New York (1000+ miles trip) without any problem. Before the trip, I sent the car for full inspection. I was told the car is in great condition, but he recommended few maintainance. One is to change the transmission fluid, which I told him to proceed. The other recommendations were: change the battery, and possibly change the backside suspensions at some point. These latter two I did not do, but I have had no problem with them at all. Cosmetically, this car have small defects. The backside has a small dent, near the back right lighting. The other defects are small and insignificant. The car seats are in perfect condition. Present problems with the car: - The AC cooling does not work anymore, but heating works great. - Both windows are not working at the moment. The glasses of the window are detached from the motor that drives the window opening/closing. There is no problem with the motor. Last time I got it fixed for ~$100, but apparently the guy must have used cheap glue because the problem came back after 2 years. You can use your hand to slide the window manually, but yes this is rather cumbersome. - The right side mirror is detached from the driver motor (similar to the glass window problem). Not an issue for me, because I don't need to keep adjusting it (you can adjust with hand when you need to). I change the engine oil at least once every 3000 miles. Most of the time I change before 3000 miles, because I drive less than 3000 miles in a year. This is a great car if you want to live frugally. The engine is very sound, so you will be able to keep this car for a long time as long as you make sure you do the regular maintainance. Also, since the car is this old, there is not much depreciation of car value over time (not as much as newer car). This is an important consideration if you were to resell your car in the future. The car manual is available and will be included. The photos are real, I did not try to clean up anything or make things look better. Please feel free to ask any questions. Thank you and happy purchasing (^_^)!
