2008 Triumph Rocket III

Black Triumph Rocket III with 6,366 miles. I'll continue riding it on nice days so the mileage at the end of the auction will be higher. The title is free and clear in my name. Triumph heated grips were put on this bike so cold weather riding is far more comfortable. The 500 mile service was completed by the dealer and the next service is due at 10,000 miles. There are some boot scuffs on seat, some minor boot melts on the right side exhaust pipe, and the clutch cable has been rubbed through to the sheath covering the cable caused by the one side of the guide popping out. These are the only cosmetic issues with this monster motorcycle. I slid a reinforced hose over the clutch cable to halt the rubbing and the guide was repositioned and has not come out again for about 2,000 miles. This may be covered under warranty which the bike has until July, 2012. The front tire shows minimal wear and the rear tire can get about 1,000 more miles out if it. If you want to fly in and ride this beast home, at no charge, I will pick you up at the St. Louis airport and transport you to Breese which is about an hour southeast of Lambert Field.
