Up for auction are 2 Ford short bed project Pickup trucks. 1971 Ford F100 Stepside. Originally a California truck. It has a 302 3 speed column shift changed to the floor with standard steering. As you can see in the pictures the truck has some rust. It needs floor pans, small holes in the cowl on each side by the front fenders and right side inner fender around the battery box. The worse rust is typical of the west coast, at the roof around the roof drip rails. The plan was to replace the roof from the truck listed below. The cab corners and rockers are solid as well as under the cab at the floor braces. It does have a rare stock 3 spd. power steering column from a 79 F100. I’ve seen these sold on eBay for $400. The 302 that came with this truck will not be part of the auction. I do have a 302 from another truck not listed that will go with it. The second truck is a complete 1972 F100 style side short bed bought as a donor truck. It has a 302, automatic and power steering with drum brakes. I believe this truck has a 9” rear. As I stated above, I bought this truck as a donor to use the drive train, rear, roof and power steering components for the 71. This truck is rusted badly in the floors, fenders, inner fenders, radiator support. Most mechanical parts are still good but will need rebuilding. Both trucks ran within the last 3 years. Neither truck is road worthy or implied as such. Both are considered projects. They will be sold together and not parted out. I do have a few extra parts that go with these trucks. Headlight bezels (new), grille, and 2 extra grille centers and dash gauge cluster bezel. Also included are all manufacturer shop manuals (books) and manufacturer complete parts manuals and assembly illistrations on CD. Both Trucks have clear titles. Both trucks are in excess of 100k miles Although I've lowered the price, I'll still throw in a pair of used GT40P heads if purchased through "Buy it Now".
