Vehicle Detail

This is ths e perfect jeep for restoration! Why? Although it is listed as a 43 according to the research that I've done it is a 42. During the repaint the original data plates were lost but hidden in the very back of the glove box was the original data plates. The vin on the original data plates matches the number stamped on the frame. The jeep is in good running condition and looks great. Although it has been repainted years ago, I don't believe it is considered to have been restored. The previous owner drove a radio jeep when he was in the military and bought this for that very reason. Although I've never used the radio it is in working order. The jeep does have some rust but very minimal for its age. The engine is from WILLYS MB. This is a great running jeep thas has been in California for quite some time. As can be seen in the pictures it is equipped with 5 combat wheels. I am looking to get a Ford GP which is why I am selling this one. I do have another GPW that will be up on ebay soon. This jeep is sold as is and sale is final so, I recommend that all interested parties come see the jeep in person to make sure it is what you are looking for before biding. I do have a few items that I purchased for the vehicle that will go to the new owner. You won't find a jeep that complete for this price. I am open to offers through ebay for our mutual protection. If you have any questions feel free to contact me at 702-768-9972 or email me through ebay.On Oct-14-10 at 08:28:22 PDT, seller added the following information: To all asking, yes the tranny is the correct t84. The plate to the left of the clove box states that it was reconditioned by the military in Phoenix, Arizona in 1965. The winner will get the original data tags. As for what for the questions regarding if the radio, top etc. are included? The answer is what you see is what you get with the exception of the riffle carrier. I will even include that at the buy it now.On Oct-14-10 at 08:52:45 PDT, seller added the following information: Thank you for all the offers but I want you to know that ebay will only let me end the auction early to sell to the highest bidder so, once we agree on a price you need to be the highest bidder. This is for our mutual protection and please don't wait until the last second to try and make and offer as will make things difficult. Once we agree on a price I will provide you with my wiring information. Thank you!On Oct-14-10 at 09:08:02 PDT, seller added the following information: CORRECTION: I just looked at the plate to the left of the glove box and it says the followint: Vehicle has been reconditioned byAllsion Steel ManufacturingPhoenix Arizona1 - 45 Sorry for the mistake. According to this I would say the jeep has been in Arizona for quite some time since the older gentleman in California I bought it form I believe told me he bought it from a guy in Arizona many years ago. If you need a picture of that tag, let me know. 702-768-9972 or colshlby65@aol.com
