Vehicle Detail
1955 Ford F-250 Pickup This is a restoration Project that I cannot complete. This pickup is located in Salmon, Idaho. It is a running 6cyl, 4 speed 3/4 ton pickup. The truck has new water pump, fuel pump, points, distributor, coil, rebuilt carburator, and rebuilt radiator. It has been converted to 12 volt electrical system. I was in the process of replacing the wooden boards on the bed, the old ones were rotted and the supports rusted away, but have only cleanup up the old portion of the bed. The tires are old and weather checked, but at this time are still holding air. The brakes work, but need to be pumped a few times, I beleive they just need to be bled properly. The Cab is in very good shape, with little dings, the bed is rougher with larger dents. Everything is here. The heater needs repaired - it leaks like crazy. there is very little rust. The seat has covers, but the stuffing is coming out and will need to be reupholstered. The back and driver side windows are cracked. Speedometer is un-hooked, I have not bothered with it to see if it works. It has a new headliner. There are no exterior mirrors, but the rearview mirror is new. I tried to show all the rough spots in the photos, but if you have questions or want more pictures please let me know. The pickup was running fine last year, but I have not been able to start it this year. I have rebuilt the carburator, installed new points, condensor, and coil - but it still will not start for me. I was going to get in to the shop wher they say it will be a smiple thing to get it to run, but have not done that and therfore lowered the price of the pickup. You will need to arrange for shipping, but I can deliver the pickup for $100.00 plus $1.00 per mile. I will add more description as needed. thanks for taking a look
