***Beautiful Surfer Bus for Sale*** Lovingly cared for, this extremely clean bus has been in inland Southern California and Southern Florida its whole life. Heads turn when this car comes into town. The body is extremely straight with very few door dings. There is very little surface rust and no cancer in the undercarriage that I have been able to detect. The seats are in excellent condition, with the middle seat being a full three passenger with folding top and seatbelts at all locations front and back. One of the middle seat braces needs to be rewelded. The front interior panels are perfect. The rear panels are starting to peel slightly in places and are a little beat up, see pictures. There are 'jail bars' on the back window and rear quarter windows that are in excellent condition. The steering wheel is aftermarket, and I don't have the original. The horn works, but speedometer cable needs to be replaced, as the head broke off. The engine was rebuild approximately 15,000 miles ago. It is a 1641cc with performance cam and dual Cadrons. I drove it from California to Texas and back a couple years ago at 65-70 MPH and it never skipped a beat. The tranmission was rebuilt at the same time and has a freeway flyer 4th gear that needs repairing. It pops out gear on its own, so you have to hold it in 4th gear. The Cadrons need to be rebuilt as well since it has not been driven much because of the transmission repair. It does run, but it will scream again with the carbs done. With a few repairs this beauty is ready to show off! I get knocks on the door weekly asking to buy, so here is YOUR chance! The car is being sold because I just have too many of them.
