Normal 0 false false false MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 For sale is a 1989 Mercedes 560SL in excellent condition. I just recently purchased this car, but due to personal reasons I have to sell. I am starting the bidding at $5,500 with no reserve. You can own this classic at well below book value. As you probably know, this was the last year this series was manufactured, and as you can see from the pictures the car is the popular Mercedes Red. The car comes with a soft and hard top. The hard top is in like new condition and includes the stand shown in pictures. The car currently has 138,950 miles. A couple of the items I have done on the car since purchase: Complete tune-up including new plug, plug wires, rotor, distributor cap and air filter. Replaced fuel filter. Replaced timing chain. This was a precautionary measure since these engines typically require new chain after 100,000 miles. Replaced console wood trim.Replaced steering wheel air bag. This was due to tears in the existing air bag cover.Replaced driver's side trim molding. Existing molding had a ding probably from someone's door hitting the car. - The paint job is in good condition. I would rate it at a 7 out of 10. I believe it to be the original paint job, and has various dings, etc., but nothing major. The engine is in great condition.
