Smooth and powerful Honda six. 1981 CBX. I rode this bike from New Mexico to Connecticut this summer without any problems except tornadoes in Texas. What a great trip. Low miles. The OD shows almost 10,000. Not sure if its original but it is believable by looking at the condition of it. The original tool bag is there with all the tools. The original owners manual and a shop manual is available. This bike is an original survivor and an excellent example of a daily driver. From the fairing to the exhaust to the seat and the panniers this bike is all stock and has not been modified in any way. There is some oxidation and the paint is not perfect but it is very good. A few things that need attention: 1. The back brakes. The last time I had it out before today was about 6 weeks ago and at that time the back brakes hung up on me. I cracked the bleeder and stayed off of them to get home and when I rode it today. I would replace or rebuild the rear caliper and cut or replace the rotor and replace the pads. Maybe a new hose too. 2. Fork seals? Not sure. I say this because every so often the dash indicator lights up and I have to pump in some air. 3. Trip odometer reset knob. The screw holding it in vibrated out and I lost the knob on the long trip I took this summer. 4. The fuel tank petcock. It’s perfect when on but if you turn it to reserve it leaks like a bastard. 5. Two little plastic rivets for the windscreen.
