This car is in need of a total restoration.The engine and trans.were removed for a frame-off restoration,but due to unforseen circumstances it was never completed.The engine was running when it was removed.I have all of the parts from the engine and engine compatment,heater core ,duct,blower motor wiper motor wiring harness,power steering pump, air conditioning,etc.,etc.I also have some replacement parts that I purchased.The engine on the engine stand in the picture is a 455 from a 73 Trans Am,I also have a bare block 400 and bare heads from a 72 Firebird Formula 400,and two Turbo 400 automatic trans. The car was in storage in a garage that I rented until it was broken into and the car was vandalised.There is a dent in the passenger side door and dents on the hood scoop from the vandals.They pushed the engine on the stand over and the oil pan was crushed on the corner as seen in the pic.I had many new parts for the car but the majority was stolen in the break in and on top of that the garage had a leak in the roof that I did'nt know about so some of the parts that I do have have some surface rust,but there are some still in the original packaging that where not affected.Pictured are a set of Hooker headers,Thrush hush mufflers and a Edlebrock Torker manifold.I also have the steering knuckles from the 72 Firebird and a steering box from 88 Chevy Monte Carlo SS that is bolt on for the lemans,to give it a lower center of gravity and a better turning radius.I also have the original knuckles and box as well.Included is a copy of the GM factory assembly manual an aftermarket restoration guide and articles and info from Car Craft magazine and HO Racing about the suspension conversion.Payment by Paypal only within 7 days of end of auction or before pick-up.Buyer responsible for vehicle pick-up or shipping.
