1971 MG Midget MK III It runs. I drive it often. Smokes and smells like gas when started – could be valve guides (I don`t work on cars). Starts right up and shifts real nice – a competent back-yard mechanic redid the engine and transmission about four thousand miles ago. It also leaks oil, has some extra blow-by through the timing cover outlet and is losing some anti-freeze. It comes with the hardware for the soft top and a few boxes of parts if you want them. Also, in the original boxes is a set of light brown door fabric and carpet. It does not need smog in California. It`s a little rough but I take it on little 50 to 150 mile trips often and so far it always gets me back. Pick-up only. Cash only. Sold as/is. This car is listed locally. If the final sale price of the Midget is over $2000.00 I will include a set of five wire wheels (if you want them). This way you could resale the Midget and keep the Minator Wheels.
