History of the CAR ***************************************************************** This adult owned Antique 1977 Corvette has been impreccably maintained by the 3 Owners that had the priveledge of owning this fine machine. The first owner garage kept this car from 77-90. Then the second owner purchased this car and installed a new 383 Stroker Powerplant when the original engine had only 25,600 miles. He then freshend up the paint ( same color), new calipers, T-Top seals, and yearly had the car professionally serviced and maintained. It comes will all of his service receipts and documentation. He kept the car in a heated climate controlled garage. This kept the fiberglass from cracking hence limited any rattles or car noises as a California car would. On June 16, 2004, I then purchased this Car from Joe for $16,999.00. The car has resided with me in PA in my overhauled garage. I then spent about $5500 on the car getting it just the way I wanted it. I upgraded the rally rims to the slotted alluminum wheels with new Goodyear tires, replaced the carpet throughout, gave it a thorough review and replaced a few items that it needed, added a CD player with new speakers, sub-woofer and amp. The sound system is not permanent. The speakers were all carpeted in boxes and velcroed to the rear compartment. The air conditioner still blows but not as cold as I like. I installed two Dynamax Mufflers to give it a nice quality roar and rumble. I owned the car for 6 years and only drove it 1200 total miles. I had 3 cervical spine surgeries since and it is hard for me to sit so low.
