Vehicle Detail

This is a beautiful 1974 cb750 with factory tool kit. That's been garaged since 1983. Just had it at a local honda dealership, to have a new set of Avon Roadrider tires and tubes installed and ballanced. Probably about 3 miles on the set. While at the dealership, i had them to sync the carbs, but they said, they did not think the carbs were rejetted for the headers that were on it. So they were unable to sync the carbs. Which is not a bad thing because that just means someone could put a set of factory exhaust on it and it should run fine. The bike runs well, probably could use a little riding time. The current exhaust on the bike makes it sound kinda like a v-twin. I have creemed the gas tank, put a new pitcock on the tank so there should be no problems in the future with fuel and internal tank rusting. Put new air filter on it, changed the oil and filter, new spark plugs, new battery. Everything works, the bike rides well put about 8 miles on it. The chrome is in great shape, the frame still has a beautiful shine, the paint on the tank and side covers are still very shiney with very little scratches on them. The seat is perfect, not a mark on it. Theres a small scratch on the tank, which should be easy to touch up. Does not leak. It also looks like at some time or other it has fell over or something, cause the engine and blinker has some scratches on them, i will put pictures of them on here also. It has a sissy bar on the back, not much of a fan of the header sissy bar look, but guess thats what they did with them back in the day. Would not take much to restore the bike back to original, kinda tired of putting money into it. Not much else i can do with the bike, would like to keep it but need the room in my garage. For sale locally, so i reserve the right to end the auction early if an agreement is made locally. I,ve tried to list everything, and describe the bike as best as possible, please feel free to ask any questions that i can help you with. On Oct-04-10 at 07:41:14 PDT, seller added the following information: Also i forgot to include on the description, the handlebars are not the stock handlebars! The handlebars that came on the bike were huge pull backs, (chopper style) I traded those to a family member for these which came off another honda, only thing is, the wires do not go through bars. Thought it was important to let everyone know before any more bids were put on the bike, in case someone was expecting to have original handlebars on the bike. The bike is still beautiful with these bars, and someone could have them ran through the bars if they wanted. Since the reserve is not met, it should not be no problem, any concerns or questions let me know.On Oct-06-10 at 10:51:24 PDT, seller added the following information: I have had alot of inquiries about international bidding and shipping. I really don't have a problem with it as long as the monies are in american funds, either wired or through pay pal as long as the end result is the purchase price, preferably wired, and the buyer takes care of all the shipping and freighting, as i do not want to be responsible for any damaging that may accure during that time, (preferably them come here to freight the bike and all prep). So good luck!, as time is running down. I appreciate everyone asking me before they bid from other countries.
