Very nice Series IV drophead that underwent a thorough restoration in the mid 90's, including engine rebuild, new clutch, front end rebuild, new rosewood dash, new top and tonneau, and glass up repaint. Extensive records go back to 1976, show that his work was performed approximately 8k miles ago. The car has a big valve Weber head with Dave Bean R2 cams, and runs excellent. I installed new Spax adjustable struts ($1100) and new Michelin tires. The car has been garaged since its refurbishment, and the paint is holding up nicely for a fiberglass car. The car has the complete tool kit including a new knockoff wrench and also includes a workshop manual, and the original cylinder head and cams. Like most Lotuses the power windows are slow and there is an occasional puff of blue smoke. Compression and oil pressure are excellent, it has no shifting issues and there is no driveline vibration.
